Outstanding Program Award Nominations

Thank you for your interest in the Outstanding Program Award. The nomination window closed September 15, 2019 at midnight. Nominations are no longer being accepted.

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2019 Outstanding Program Awards for Oklahoma School Foundations. The Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence annually presents one or more Outstanding Program Awards to recognize innovative programs sponsored or administered by school foundations in Oklahoma.

The program submitted must have been administered during the 2018-19 school year to be eligible for the current award year. The programs may be, but are not limited to, the following areas: curriculum enhancement, arts integration, student leadership development, student scholarships, mentoring, professional development for teachers, public relations and fundraising.

Nominations for recognition may come from anyone knowledgeable about the foundation, including its board members. Only one program per foundation may be nominated for recognition. Winning foundations must wait one full calendar year before they are eligible to nominate another program. (Click here to view descriptions of past award winners.)

Trophies and monetary awards will be presented at an appropriate upcoming event in your community. Winners may be asked to participate, in some capacity, at the next Oklahoma School Foundations Network Fall Forum (Scheduled for 2020) or in a Spring 2020 Regional Meeting.

Nominations must be completed and submitted by September 15, 2019. The Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence Outstanding Program Awards Selection Committee will review nominations and make selections. Winners will be notified no later than October 1 and publicized by November.
